Breakfast was perfect, cooked to order.
I experienced consistent issues with hot water during my stay. What was more frustrating is that some of my friends did not have hot water at all for two days. Additionally, the entry to the hotel was confusing after hours, especially for someone not fluent in Spanish.

More pros than cons, but still…
The location beside Lake Chapala was fantastic,. The staff always greeted me with cheery smiles. I loved the delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients every morning.
While the hotel had charm, I noticed a few outdated facilities and some spots that could use a bit more attention.

The grounds feature lovely landscaping and a beautiful lakeside layout, making for a relaxing atmosphere. Rooms were clean and fairly spacious, but the hot water issue—having to turn it back on frequently—was inconvenient. Breakfast was simple but good, with a few tasty options. The warm pool and stunning view added to the appeal, although dining choices felt limited overall.
